I remember my sister, when her older daughter was growing up, saying, “She’s ready to start dating. The boys are ready for her to start dating. I think everybody is ready for this but me.” That line was so good, I gave it to one of my characters. 🙂

I lived through raising two daughters somehow. They’re both married now, thank goodness. 🙂
