Ron Herron is a Michigan author whose work has won awards and received great reviews. I read his novel, Reichold Street, and was very impressed with his style. It’s an extremely well-written story that echos facets of my own growing up years.
I follow Ron’s site, Painting With Light, pretty closely, taking notes and hoping some of his class will rub off on me.
Today, Ron was kind enough to interview me on his site. I can be pretty mum about what I’m doing, but Ron decided to run the piece anyway. 🙂
Stop by and say hello.
Read and commented. You’re an amazing man, Tim. I loved your answers.

Great stuff, Mr. Dittmer! I really liked how you answered the favorite quote question. I’m always amazed with how many writers out there litter their social media posts with quotes all the time. Probably just like-bait, but to each his own. 🙂

Thanks, Doc. Not much to tell, really. Pretty boring stuff.

I loved reading the interview- so interesting. Is music still a big part of your life?

It is, though not nearly what it was when I studied music (majored in music, in fact).
I still hum the final movement to Beethoven’s Ninth (Ode to Joy) while doing the dishes, though. And do so with no thought of Schiller’s words. Just that beautiful music.
