Powerful poem shared by writer, blogger, and Vietnam Vet Tim Dittmer. If you’re not following him, I recommend it and his book The Valley Walker.
I feel you had a much tougher time than I, although my memory is very spotty. Lucky me. I am so glad you came back and are able to connect with me. I always liked you buddy. Be well please! You’re one hell of a writer!!
Powerful, TIm. Thank you. Thank you, for your service. My husband and my brother both served in Vietnam. Several cousins served as well. We can’t forget — ever. 💗
Very powerful words. Because of your service, we found freedom in this country after spending 20 years of war in Vietnam. Freedom is not free. Just want to say thank you and all of your friends who served and died in Vietnam.
This is powerful! Reblogging.
