Came across this review of e-readers and decided some people may want to take a look at it. For my Canadian friends, the Kobo is included in the review, even though CNET didn’t include it in the title.
Kindle vs. Nook vs. iPad: Which e-book reader should you buy? | Crave – CNET.
Me?
I use an older Kindle. The black and white (gray-scale, really) screen is easier for me to read, and I don’t have any desire to browse or blog or anything else from a tablet.
Yet.
I first owned a Kobo Vox, and I loved it. Quickly after purchasing, though, I discovered the many distractions it held. I was reading less and surfing more. I sold it on ebay and then bought a Kindle Keyboard, which I love, because I now actually READ my books!
I also noticed that even though the Kobo Vox had Android apps, some of the factory installed apps were not update-able – for example, if Facebook had an update for it’s Android app, Kobo’s appstore did not carry it. I did find that frustrating.
Thanks for posting!!

There are some I HAVE to have on paper, some even in hard-cover. I’m more a lover of the words and dreams than the medium, though I can understand people that feel that way.

That’s how I am. I wrote a blog post about that a while ago:
